I was able to install it and use my PODxt in Ubuntu a couple of months ago. It worked with no problems at all.
A couple of days ago I switched to Ubuntu Studio and installed the driver, but unfortunately there were some problems.
The driver seems to install correctly and the system can see the device (line6_find_device.pl works ok). But when I try
to open any audio editing program (or just do anything inside the operating system) the system freezes and I can do nothing
but reboot. If the device is still on and connected when I log in, the system freezes again (actually it does not load at
all). I have to reboot the system with the device turned off.
Could you help me with this problem?
There is another thread in this forum ("Driver install problems in Ubuntu Studio") in which this problem is discussed, but
there is no solution in there.
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you,
Nick

Not sure if that helps, but I recently fixed a couple of warnings after I switched to openSUSE-11.0, which comes with kernel 2.6.25.5. This is not yet released, so please get the recent sources from the subversion repository.
Kind regards,
Markus

Some more information about my system:

The thread in which the same problem was discussed is "Can't install on Fedora Core 6" and not "Driver install problems in Ubuntu Studio".
