Does this driver works for "Tone Port" series

i have a line6 audio interface of type "tone port ux1", does this driver work with tone port series devices?
i built the driver from source and it is on the loaded module list (confirmed it via modprobe -l, it shows /path/to/sound/usb/line6usb.ko), yet i can't seem to find the device from within my sound recording software. (no device with name resemblance to line6 whatsoever)
if this driver works only for the pod series, anybody knows other driver that will work with my tone port?

No, it's too different from the POD. However, a user recently approached me and offered to provide a TonePort GX so I could try to get it supported. Once I have the device, I can give it a try, and it might be easier to create the UX1 driver from the GX driver. In the meantime, all you can do is cast your vote on http://www.tanzband-scream.at/line6/poll.php5 (unless you already did so under a different name)...

I also want to help with the driver development (as i posted on the other tone port thread). Even though i am new to the linux development encironment and never try to develop a driver, I have some skills in java, c++ and c (though i use c++ most) and i hope i can help with something. My biggest objective is to help with the recording capability since that's what i use my toneport for.
What is the stage of the toneport driver development now? Anyone write code yet? I see some on the other thread already started writing some code and maybe i can join forces with them.
