Hello PHPSurveyor Translators,
for all you application translators out there (meaning the people who
are editing the .po files in the application).
To have a more flexible translation system we decided to make the .po
files indepedendant from setlocale functions.
The setlocale method hat two disadvantages. First the according locale
library had to be installed in the webservers system or no transaltion
would be possible. The second disadvantage was even more serious: when

What does this mean for you:
If you work with POEdit you have to add a new keyword that POEdit finds
the places where the new translation method occurs in the source code.
In poEdit do the following:
Open menu /Catalog/Settings/, enter the /Paths/-Tab
Delete the existing path and add a new one pointing to the
downloaded PHPSurveyor sources
Click on the *keywords* tab, click on new item
Add the keyword: gT
Press ‘OK’ to close the settings.
Thats it.. if you update the translations from the source the old/new
strings should be found as usual.
If anyone has questions please do not hesitate to ask.
p.s.: We are actively preparing the next release which is coming closer
every day. Rough time-.frame is two weeks until next alpha - 15.
February would be nice.
It would be great if everyone of you could take a look at the
translation before that date. Thank you! I will send another message 3
days before release.
