it's been some time since my last message. Some of you have experienced how well the new LimeSurvey 1.50 release was received on the users end. Additionally to the new features (which have been a huge boost) I have got the feeling that everyone was glad we are still alive somehow. :-)
Due to the hard work of everyone and the long testing period we managed to create a pretty stable product!
Still.. with so many users giving us feedback there are some things that weren't working as good as they should and so we are planning a version 1.52 for this weekend. Translators: Please update the language packs if necessary.
It will include minor bugfixes and lots of security fixes which will make the interaction of registered users inside the interface alot safer.
That's for the immediate future. So, what comes next?
After release of 1.52 we will merge the current branch with the 1.60 branch which already contains some new features.
But for 1.60 we would like to implement even more features. To straighten our development time and have some roadmap for 1.6 we should now set the features for 1.6.
Since YOU, the developers, testers and translators, are doing the hard work YOU should suggest what should be in v1.60.
Every suggestion will be discussed in the team and will be valued by the team members - if a feature is accepted will depend on the workload and the usefullness (Our goal is a new stable version in 3 months. Take one month testing time, we have about two month for coding.)
Most features will be already in the feature tracker. Just post the wanted feature tracker number to this list and I will mark it in the feature tracker. (again: only team members may suggest features)
I am looking forward to your suggestions.
