Hi Joost I'm one of the developers for LimeSurvey. I have been implementing a whole load of CSS and XHTML stuff for the 1.8 release of LimeSurvey. As I've been going through all the templates updating the CSS for the new stuff I've done, I've been testing them in as many browsers as possible. When I tested LimeSpired in IE 6 I noticed it had a few issues. The primary issue is the "LimeSurvey" png in the banner. IE6 can't handle alpha transparencies. Would it be possible for you to have a poke at it and fix any issues you see? If you have any time (and the inspiration) to get this done in the next week, let me know. Otherwise we'll try and fix it ourselves. PS: It's great that there are now a couple of CSS based templates. Thank you for the work you've put in on LimeSpired. Hi Joost There's been a little bit of work done on all the templates since the release of 1.8rc4. I'll do a diff on the two files and add all your changes to the main branch, test and commit the changes. This is awesome news as it will be able to be included in the 1.8 final release next Monday. Thanks for your speedy assistance. I added the sample survey, switched it to the Limespired template and started looking for a machine with IE6. I found one, and I've made the following changes to the template: * in template.css, replace 'logo.png' with 'logo.gif'. The funny thing is, the logo.gif file is already included, seems I forgot to change the CSS file. * I've made some changes to startpage.pstpl as it contained a hard link to the website of the University of Leuven (that where my wife works, and I made the template for her job). I changed it to a link to the LimeSurvey webpage. The same file also uses an image (blank.png) from the LimeSurvey website. I've added it locally and changed the reference. Here's what you should do: * You can find startpage.pstpl attached to this message. You can just overwrite the old version. * You'll also find blank.png. Please put it in the directory if the limesurvey template. * Change logo.png => logo.gif in template.css * Change logo.png => logo.gif in credits.txt And all should be fine. If not, let me know. Kind regards, Joost Evan Wills schreef: Hi Joost I'm one of the developers for LimeSurvey. I have been implementing a whole load of CSS and XHTML stuff for the 1.8 release of LimeSurvey.
