just a couple pointers that came up:
* To make all your past commits be visually assigned to you in GitHub
please add the email address
<your_sf.net_username>@users.sourceforge.net to your GitHub profile.
* If you clone the repository you can use SSH or HTTP. I prefer HTTP
because then I don't have to create SSH keys and can commit using a
password just normally. To find out the right URL login at
http://ww.github.com and after being logged in go to the repository
main page: https://github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey. Click on 'SSH'
or 'HTTP' to find out the right URL to clone the repository. Do not
use 'Git Read-Only' as it is read only (hehe).
* Things can be confusing with Git, for someone being used to
Subversion only. Currently all our branches are separate monsters
:-). Merging will be alot easier once new branches are real
descendants from the master branch. We are working on that ;).
