Hi Limesurvey developers,
I currrently run/administer a Limesurvey instance for my girlfriend
(she is doing a doctorate in psychology) and see used Limesurvey
frequently to perform online surveys.
She has asked me if I could add a new feature to Limesurvey. I have
been running websites and programming PHP (not fulltime) for 8 years.
I accepted here challenge :-)
Her request is to add a form of feedback to users when they finished a
survey. Basically create a index based on the responses to the
questions and use that index to create some text and provide it back
to the user using email, a webpage, a PDF, ...
I've looked a bit on the current status of Limesurvey and I have a
couple of question on how to continue. First, do you guys think I
should write this is a new feature to Limesurvey (a.k.a. integrate it)
or write it as a separate app that uses the DB model of Limesurvey.
If you think I can integrate this into Limesurvey then the next
question would be what version of Limesurvey I should target, 1.5x,
1.7 or 2.0 ? I don't mind either, but I think my girlfriend can't wait
for 5 years to start using it :-)
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. I really think this stuff
would be usefull to more people so I really like to have it available
for other Limesurvey users.

Hoping the problem magically goes away by ignoring it is the
"microsoft approach to programming" and should never be allowed.
