Lima VVA Beta 5.0.2 update

This update includes all fixes that we made in 4.12.1 last year, as well as the improvement for LandXML support that we just released in 4.12.2.

Lima VVA 4.12.2 — better LandXML export

For our Norwegian users, we have a new update, implementing a nice improvement to the export functionality: Export to LandXML format will now omit unused elements. See [tickets:#24].

Signed installers

For increased trust and security, the Lima VVA installers are now signed.

Lima VVA 4.12.1 bug fix update

This update is for our, mainly Norwegian, users of the Lima VVA 4 series. It fixes an issue in Windows 11 (invisible scroll buttons for tabs), while also fixing some issues in our routines for file import. For full details, see the revision history in the Code section.

Lima VVA Beta 5.0.1 bug fix update

Thanks to all of you who have had a look at the beta since I uploaded it last month! It is cool to see the new English version being downloaded around the world. However, I do apologise for all the pesky bugs in the initial version. I have now released an urgent update that addresses the most pressing issues. Lima VVA Beta 5 with English language support

Version 5 with support for English and Norwegian languages has now entered beta status.

Welcome to Lima VVA at SourceForge

After 21 years as commercial software, Lima VVA — a lightweight Windows application for road design and earthwork calculation — is now available here at SourceForge as free software, licensed under the GNU General Public Licence, version 3.

Lima VVA started its life back in 1994 as one of the first programs for Windows in its genre. Then named "LIMA 3.0 for Windows", it was a from-the-ground-up rewrite of the predecessor "LIMA 2". While the latter was based on ~20 thousand messy lines of BASIC and ran on MS-DOS, LIMA 3.0 for Windows was written from scratch in C++ based on Borland's Object Windows Library (OWL) for Windows.
