Lil' Vector 0.10a Released!

This tool just keeps getting better and better!

This time around, there were three main goals for the release milestone. The first of these was a technical matter - the source code has become too large to keep lumped together like it was, so everything was neatly sorted out into its own sections.

The second goal was to completely redesign the way you interact with the drawing area. This meant replacing the "Left Click Action" menu with a proper set of Tools, and ensuring that each tool does its intended job in a user friendly and intuitive manner.... read more

Lil' Vector 0.9a Released!

Sometimes it's astounding how quickly things can fall into place. This release of Lil' Vector is one such example.

It's only been three months since the last release, and in that time I figured out how to handle several more complicated features, such as the ability to select multiple shapes, and two easy ways to carve holes in existing ones. Lil' Vector 0.8a Released!

It's been about six months since Lil' Vector was initially created, and a lot has happened during this time!

The biggest changes are internal, so casual users won't notice them directly. But their affects will be quite noticeable, as Lil Vector is now able to properly rotate your shapes, and change where their rotation axis is located! Another big change is that the palette has been expanded to 216 colors + transparency, and much of the program has been fleshed out and made easier to work with!... read more

Lil' Vector has Arrived!

Allow me to introduce Lil' Vector - an answer to a problem I ran into thanks to changes in my own lifestyle.

To make a long story short, I've been working with vector graphics for over twenty years, first using Flash and later using Inkscape. Recently, I've had to spend a large chunk of my time away from my computer, and the only way to use this time productively is for me to use a laptop I picked up in late 2020.
