lignumCAD Version 0.2

Version 0.2 of lignumCAD adds the ability to create primitive assemblies of parts. It is now possible to visualize pieces created in simple styles, such as Shaker or Mission, in 3D.

Other improvements include a German translation of the user interface and a German tutorial, both submitted by Christoph Eckert. There are also a couple of important bug fixes. See http://lignumcad.sf.net/doc/en/HTML/SOHTML/WhatsNews.html for more details.

lignumCAD Version 0.1

Version 0.1 of lignumCAD adds the ability to create solid parts from a library of templates. Other improvements include the ability to enter lengths in decimal notation while in fraction mode and several important bug fixes.

lignumCAD Version 0.0

The first pre-alpha release of lignumCAD is now available. lignumCAD is a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) program geared specifically
to aid the woodworker in designing custom furniture and other hand-made
objects. It supports both two-dimensional and three-dimensional
representations of the design with full parametric interrelations.
Additional features include optimized layout of the bill of materials
on custom stock and photo-realistic rendering of the final design.
