Hello
Just tried light-47 on a 32-bit Linux GTK2 system....hoping I've chosen the correct download - /47/201606041603_gcc232/light-47.0.en-US.linux-i686.rpm
Getting errors that were not there with light-46:
which light
/usr/local/bin/light
light
A coding exception was thrown and uncaught in a Task.
Full message: TypeError: Services.telemetry is undefined

and trying to search using Google displays the error:

Error code: NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY
Can send full errors if you need them

Hi
I did wonder if the 2 problems were possibly connected....??
All Google sites that use https are affected - google sites that don't use https are ok e.g. finance is ok, images, maps, translate all give error.
Both .com and .co.uk behave similarly....
Other https sites seem OK from what I've tested - e.g. https://duckduckgo.com/ is fine
OK - found it - my fault - my system has the nss libs from slackware-current so I'd taken advantage of this in my light-46 module to make it smaller.
This technique doesn't work for light-47 but if I do an install using the nss libs in the light-47 .rpm then all is well again - DOH!!
Sorry!

I've been enjoying your releases of Slackware-based Puppy Linux with the newer kernels. (Though it was sad to see the 64bit discontinued.)
Light is a cool project-- fits well with Puppy's minimalism. (I do miss some Firefox plugins though, like Https-Everywhere, Privacy Badger, etc.) What has me wondering is: when navigating to about: I'm told I'm running "Light 48.0" -- I take it you compiled it for LxPup, making yours the latest one available?
Users oughtn't use a browser that's been months without an update, since security fixes are coming out constantly. What are the chances of automating Light builds so that the latest Firefox vulnerabilities can be constantly addressed?
Many thanks,
Str4y

All not perfect. This is another Light user, and I just got Light stable release 47. Installed the Firefox add-on NoScript under Light, but nothing appears in the NoScript list! Is JavaScript disabled, or is Light just incompatible with NoScript?

I will fix the telemetry error.
NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY means Server negotiated bad TLS for HTTP/2.
Does all google sites give the error?

With the updated download the telemetry errors have gone away ;-)
Google and other sites https errors remain.
Have done 2 identical tests on pristine systems differing only wrt 46 and 47 - 46 is fine with Google https - 47 gives the error
I can't reproduce the https issue under windows 10 and cento 7.
test it with firefox nightly?

Higher version firefox usually requires higher version nss.
All working now - thanks - and even smaller - my module is now 19.5MB down from 23MB for light-46 - GR8!

Hi. What about flashplayer in Linux_x64 ? It`s install, but in all pages I am see
"Install Flash Player !" In Light 46 all OK....
can you see any plugin in about:plugins?
Maybe it's a path issue. You may need to put or link flash player plugin into /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.
