We've been very bad about posting test tarballs for this
release... we've only posted it one so far.
The plan is to release 0.5.3 sometime today. I've just sneaked a few
changes into the release and it would be good to hear that they are
working before we release. I'm going to post a -test2 release on the
web site in a minute.
The things that I've just sneaked in:
* X session management code. I'm interested to know if the
configuration script works on Solaris, and maybe a computer without
the X session management library.
* Instant apply toolbar settings. Change your GNOME toolbar settings
and watch Liferea update its toolbar on the fly.
* Atom parsing fix. Please make sure that item descriptions and titles
are displayed correctly in Atom feeds.
And another thing to test is if links in the htmlpane work
correctly. Also, I've added a gconf schema for Liferea. So, you'll get
descriptions of the various options in gconf-editor. See the changelog
