My Liferea (compiled from the latest git tip) has started hanging during startup (before it brings up the window and so on). I tried to look for anything obvious with --debug-all but the last output produced suggests that the hang is somewhere threading related. I've tried to run it under gdb, let it hang, and then look at 'thread apply all where' but I can't see anything obvious in the resulting backtraces. (I ran with --debug-all --debug-trace --debug-verbose and the end of the trace is 'DB: updating node info scuonhw' and then steady ticks of 'TRACE +/- feedlist_auto_update'.) I've tried removing .cache/liferea entirely. This has made no change. Does anyone have any ideas on how to debug this or what might have caused this? Is there anything I should look for in earlier debug output? (This is obviously both crippling to my usage of Liferea and very disturbing.) - cks |
