I noticed Liferea 1.10RC1 has increased thread count(14) after hours of browsing.
Also memory footpring is higher than normal.
Program works fine, but I think its a bug since 14 threads are a lot.
I compiled from git/1.10RC1 on Fedora 18.
@Kaloyan: your dbg-threads file shows that those threads do some gstreamer work. Seems like a similar bug in Epiphany (using WebKitGtk+ too) which I experience when surfing on youtube: Epiphany does not close/release some gstreamer-related resources.
Steps to reproduce (for Epiphany and Liferea):
1. Watch multiple youtube videos (without flash player)
2. close all tabs except one
3. Open GNOME sound menu / GNOME control center | audio: It will list many instances of Epiphany/Liferea making audio output
Since Epiphany behaves exactly the same this should be a bug in underlying software stack (webkitgtk+, webkit, …). I'll report it against webkitgtk+.
reported as bug against WebKit : https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109350
