Dear Friends, As far as I saw [licq-users] mailing list, some users experience troubles compiling Licq with socks by gcc-2.96 compiler, included with rh7.0 particularly. I met such a trouble recently. Here is what I made to find a solution: === in file <socks sources root dir>/include/socks.h commented out "#ifdef INCLUDE_PROTOTYPES" with corresponding "#endif" , and in file <licq sources root dir>/src/socket.cpp changed "socklen_t" type definition into "int" every of 3 times this entry meets. === the sources did compile, install and build rpm packages. I've launched compiled in such way licq but our socks5 firewall was merged during I had pleasure looking for a solution.by NAT. No I don't see whether had I luck to turn things right or not. Would anybody like to test my corrections? Thanks a lot. Here is where you can get them: === http://pyotr.pisem.net/socks.h http://pyotr.pisem.net/socket.cpp === Here is my system description: === p3-667/128/8g/vanta8mb kernel 2.2.19/glibc 2.2/gcc-2.96/qt 2.3/socks-v1.0r11 |
