My document is a single line like this:
<a><b/></a>
 
with no new line on the end
 
xmllint seems to have no problem with this.
 
Could it be my library lineup?  I am using the very latest of libsigc++ (1.9.16), glib (2.4.0), glibmm (2.3.7) , and libxml2.  Are there any library incompatibilities?
 
Thanks for all you help.  It is most likely in my code somewhere.....  :)
