Hello again,

Hope you didn't forgot who i am! I'm really sorry that i didn't update this site for a while. I'm really busy with school, lot's of homework to do. I will spend all of my time in the vacation at this project as much as i can and i will have some more time for this project half 2007, then hopefully i'm done with school for a while.

I'm working on module support for Xcript 0.3 which is going well, some modules will be totally written from scratch. When Xcript 0.3 is released i will need some help with writing the documentation. There will be a Doxygen generated documentation but i also want a documentation which explains how to use libXcript.

I finally finished the website! Didn't have enough time to write my own site so i used Wordpress instead. Modified the theme a bit and all looks quite nice.

I'm busy with putting all the news on it now. Also a download page will be added soon as i have finished it.

I'm currently converting all the functions like Xcript:If and Xcript:Print etc. to modules. They will be placed in a directory called Modules and will be loaded when needed. I hope this increases the speed of parsing Xcript scripts. But it isn't really working as planned. And with only 1 week of vacation remaining, pressure is becoming high. There are no bugs reported yet and i didn't find any bugs myself so i think i label this project as Stable.

Now version 0.2 beta is just released i allready have some very usefull plans for version 0.3 which will be stable. Here is a short list of things that i want to do for version 0.3:

[Adding] Custom tags eg. Xcript:Foo
[Adding] Return property for Xcript:Loop to return how many times he has looped allready.
[Adding] Xcript:Include for including other Xcript documents.
[Adding] Elseif statement.
[Adding] Colour options like bold text, background colours etc. for Xcript:Print... read more

Finally i solved the problems. It was quite simple i just didn't see what i did wrong. The variable and the if/else systems are working now! You will find the release notes and changes on the files page.

I hoped i could release Beta 0.2 yesterday but i couldn't because of some problems. So i don't know exactly when i'm going to release it.

The long awaited Beta 0.2 is almost ready.
I expect i'm going to upload it tomorrow evening. There are much more features now!

When you saw this you probebly say wow the site is ready! ... but no.

I have made a Under Construction page that's all. I'm working very hard to get that site done and it won't take long anymore!

I'm happy to announce that Beta 0.1 of libXcript is released. Feel free to post bugs or feature requests and well ... happy testing!

I'm still working on the examples and they will be released soon.

I missed some nice colors in scripts so i added an argument "Color" to the print command. Now you can print text with 7 nice colors!

Red, Black, Green, Brown, Blue, Magenta and Cyan.

I'm working on the design of the hompage my website and it is almost done. The URL is http://www.small-solutions.nl or you can go http://libxcript.sourceforge.net. I'm also working on some other projects like a Brute-Force library which will also be available on sourceforge and on my website soon.

The first release of Xcript will be ready very soon! See the tasks page for detailed info on what's left to do for me. Here is a list of features:

* Call C++ functions from within the script
* Loops allow you to repeat certain things in youre script
* Print allows you to print console output from within youre script

Next release hopefully features:
* Variables, allow you to store data
* If/else statements
