As a start, it is a good one. If we find a student that is ready to do
that (and one extremely good already contacted me), the mentoring (since
it is an OO.o SoC proposal) will be done on de...@wp... and
lib...@li... simultaneously. I wrote today rough
guidelines at

It would be good if Marcs could agree add me to the project
administrators and the talented student as developer so that the libwpg
work can be done directly in the libwpg CVS. The administrative rights,
I ask for them because at the end of the SoC, there should be a library
enough good to be released as 0.1.0 version as well as the wpg2odg could
sit there the way wpd2sxw sits in libwpd repository.

BTW: An API like the libwpd one looks like a way to go. Do you have any
idea how to place the svg:points property into a WPXProperty-ish framework?
