In theory, it would be trivial for a USB microcontroller to send
different descriptors at different times without (soft) detaching.

In practise, I don't know if it would be useful, smart or standards
compliant.

Do we want to accept that the library misses it, should it occur in
the wild? Maybe it's too small a corner case and I'm being paranoid.
