Well, I use libusb interrupt reads from libgphoto2 with no problems whatsoever. They're needed for remote capture, and that works reliably. I just didn't think my code would apply to David's case; I got the impression that he wants to drive some sort of input device like a mouse or tablet. -Stephen H.
