Because we have 2 maintainers who are providing conflicting information!

Peter was adamant "I just don't want CR in the repo", while you have 
been saying that you don't want to care about MSVC files, in which case, 
unless you explicitly tell Peter that, yes, you want CR in the repo for 
what he sees as text files and vehemently insited he wants to be treated 
as text files, I would expect Peter to still impose his choice.

It's simple as this really. Now I know for sure that, in direct 
contradition with Peter, you want CR in the repo for the MSVC files 
(which is better than "I don't care"), so we just need Peter to confirm 
that he is OK, which he has yet to do.
