But let me address what you followed it with: I have no INTRINSIC problem with CRLF staying the same or with it being converted back and forth, provided it always gets checked out CRLF, and provided I can get my branches consistent with yours. If CRLF staying in the repo prevents me from doing so, then I would oppose it.
