Still have the shadow warnings (patched in my branch, so you'll get it 
when this exercise has been applied to official and I can submit the new 
batch of Windows patches) and:
   dpfp_threaded.c: In function `poll_thread_main':
   dpfp_threaded.c:95: warning: control reaches end of non-void function
for which I had sent a quick patch 2 months ago [2].

I think there was a shadowing of the errcode global variable when 
compiling MinGW, which you'll also pick a fix for when I submit a new 
set of patches.

PS: As far as logistics are concerned, unless stuge-testing is sorted 
out and integrated into official within the next 10 days, I don't think 
I'll have the ability to submit a proper (i.e. tested on all Windows 
environments) set of Windows patches against official before January.
