Older version of this program created a "LibUsb-Win32" services in the Windows service manager. This way, I can stop the LibUsb service without having to uninstall the whole damn thing.
I have a Zune player and whenever you plug it in when the LibUsb program is installed, it keeps making the "device connected" and "device disconnected" sound over and over again. Before, I could stop the service to fix the problem and restart it later. Now, I have to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing. Very Frustrating!!!!!!
Just do not use the filter driver at all. It is known to cause problems.
The way to do it is "install-filter -u" to remove the filter driver service. "install-filter -i" will install the service. Of course you need to run as admin.
