Using the archive available from https://models.physiomeproject.org/e/4c7 everything seems to be working fine - so either this issue is fixed or there is a problem with my original test archive :)

While debugging I found the soruce of the issue. In both cases the issue is with the csim.dll that unfortunately causes the web server process to crash. Interestingly, in the one the issue https://sourceforge.net/p/libsedml/tickets/14/ that matthias found, the crash occurs on the second call to the csim.dll and results in an access violation. So far I have not yet managed to build it successfully. This will have to wait on a newer version of the dll.

This has now been resolved using a new version of the csim library ... the original archive is now working as well. Thanks David!
