Client
LibrePLM Client is an integration for CAD system.
It allows to introduce an integrated toolbar or menu (depending on CAD editor) in your CAD system.
Starting from this menu you can interact with Odoo / LibrERP to assign product properties to your modeled geometry, completing your design activity with the main information useful for manufacturing (the product Part Number). This simple fact allow us to collect all your work effort, adding the value of saving in Odoo / LibrERP the complete BoM (Bill of Materials) described in your CAD model by hierarchical structure of the modeled geometry.
LibrePLM Client can work with a recordset of informations that can be customized. Anyway it works "out of the box" with a minimal set of properties. If you should need to manage a different recordset of informations, please, feel free to contact us at: info@codebeex.com
It doesn't require special ability to work. It is a simple windows application that requires minimal attention to be installed.
When Client successful installation occurres you will find a new menu, toolbar or ribbon menu (depending from CAD system interface), named "LibrePLM".
Client interface messages and menus can be translated as any other Odoo module.
You can consult "Instructions" placed in "LibrePLM" menu, under "Menu Programs".

Requirements
Before to install, remember: LibrePLM requires at least Microsoft Windows 10* and works also on Windows 11**.
It's preferred maintain your operating system updated with all the proposed updates.
On Windows 10 or 11 is provided Defender to protect from viruses and other informatics threats; LibrePLM works fine with Defender and has no issues installing.
Take care, other software, antivirus or other malware, from third party can block LibrePLM installation.

Works correctly with both low and high resolution modes.
Installation
To install, download it from Client, right-click on installer executable choose "Run as Administrator" and answer to questions.
You can install more than an integration if you have more editors installed on your PC (e.g. both Inventor and AutoCAD on the same PC).

Login from Client can support both http and https (usually on port 443 ) protocols. We suggest to use https for optimal security using internet/intranet connections.
Updates
Our suggestion, before to install an update, is to uninstall older version, from "Apps and Features" menu.

Please, remember to compile "Version" field using the installer version number:
- right-click on installer executable, choose "Properties", sheet "Details" and copy "File version" value.
- from "Apps and Features" menu select "LibrePLM..." item and copy the version value.
