When I want to print my task scheduling a java error occured.
So I've opened yr libreplan demo and the example "Build my house", I've selected "project scheduling", I've expanded every task and selected "show resources". When I press print button (all check boxes are selected) and after Print, a java runtime exception occured!!!
Could you tell me any suggestions, please?
Many thanks in advance
Andrea

do not worry, thank you very much for your feedback and for helping doing LibrePlan better :)
About what you say, sorry for the inconvenience, but I need to ask you to try again in the demo to prepare the reproducible situation for the allocation doubt. We have had to clean the database demo and have fixed the issue with printing that was happening and you reported.
Regards.

Hi
I've tried again to print from online demo but now doesn't happen anything!! No error…it seems that the java machine that before made an image copy now doesn't work properly! ok… it is only a my assumption….

Andrea

Hi,
actually with safari and firefox we can print everything on yr online demo….in our system, after setting safari/firefox with "permit popup window" setting, an image in a popup window appears with only the label "processing" in the window center and the logo "AK powered" in the a bottom right corner but without any planning! we don't understand why!
Is it an installation problem?
what can we do to gather other informations and give you the correct feedback to solve our problems?
Many thanks
Regards
Andrea

Yes, I was going to ask you what GNU/Linux distribution you have LibrePlan deployed in. The issue with the on-line demo was with Debian Squeeze packages.
In any case, if someone is experiencing this type of problems nevermind of the GNU/Linux distribution, one first suggestion is to try to install the more recent versions of CutyCapt and Webkit (although they were not the official ones in the distribution). The printing uses CutyCapt tool to render the webpage with the Webkit engine by capturing an image of the Gantt of a project.

Yes, you can print but it seems like a image. When I want to print a project that has a lot of tasks, I realized that it is difficult to configure the image if I want to print on a A4 paper. is it possible the project can be printed in several A4 papers?

I guess you can use some utility to print an image in several pages, however I agree that it'd be great if LibrePlan already provides a PDF with several pages for large images.

However, I tried it again and it goes fine. I am able to print company view and project planning.
I do not know if maybe a punctual error happened in your case.

After many checks, we have understood that we had to install an other diffferent library (beta version)!!
http://navalplan.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=navalplan/navalplan;a=commit;h=c928794fb371a05a95db6de317cbf22365640aa7
OK now it prints…
Sorry Andrea, I am late.
