LibreCad is crashing all the time. It worked pefectly the first week or so, but now it keeps crashing very quickly. I basically just open the projet, start drawing and immediately it crasches. When i open the program again the same thing happens. I have Windows 10. Any help is appreciated!

These are the specs on the program (LibreCAD):

Version: 2.1.3
Compiler: GNU GCC 4.9.1
Compiled on: Sep 23 2016
Qt Version: 5.4.1
Boost Version: 1.60.0
System: Windows

With some more information maybe someone can help you.
Does this alway happen with the same drawing?
Does it happen with other drawings?
Can you share the drawing and describe exact steps to reproduce the issue?

Thank you for your answer! Yes this seems to only happen with one drawing which I am working on. It does not matter what I do. If I simply just try to draw anything, the program freezes and closes within a minute or so. The drawing is attached below.

    Version: 2.2.0-rc1
    Compiler: GNU GCC 4.9.1
    Compiled on: Feb 16 2018
    Qt Version: 5.4.1
    Boost Version: 1.53.0
    System: Windows 10

I opened the file and worked for a while, stretch, rotate, mirror, draw, spline, dimension. But mine crashed too after a while.

Next time i tried it for a minute or two it didn't crash on this file.

Hello - Could you please let me know if this was resolved? I have a drawing that, once opened, I can make one or two small edits before LibreCad crashes. The initial crash occurred while I was adjusting an ellipse. Now it crashes with simple line trimming. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and restarted Windows 10 a few times. Thanks for your help!

This ticket is about version 2.1.3, there were several issues with crashes solved in latest version.
As you haven't provided any version info, I can't say if using the latest version 2.2.0-rc3 solve your issue.
rc3 means release candidate and it is more stable than 2.1.3.

Thanks, I'm using 2.1.3 and have always had great success with it. I ended up recreating my drawing and its was fine. I suspect the original drawing was somehow corrupted causing the crash, and if that is the case, I doubt there is a file repair utility to correct it. I'll have to create backups more often! Thanks again!
