Hi,
If I try to export a file as an image, I get 0 length files.
I've tried png, pbm, jpeg.
tif has only the following text line:
red' @ error/tiff.c/TIFFErrors/561.
Only the .svg file has some data but I can read it only, and partially with scribus and inkscape.
This apply to git/master version under Debian GNU/Linux

I get "expected" results with resolution set to 300 and the height/width to 500 for png.
Try the Export->MakerCAM SVG
Ok, thanks.
But this is a workaround.
A well educated software [tm] should not accept parameters that will give
"unexpected" results.
For MakerCAM SVG, yes, I knew. But I was tested the other feature...

I've only known about LibreCAD for 1 year, and some of the code is 16 years old...
I'm under no obligation to fix anything, or even investigate, or even offer workarounds...
http://forum.librecad.org/New-contributors-amp-The-LibreCAD-team-td5713777.html
You might note my more recent comment where I fixed something more than a year old.
The other SVG export is Qt based and can not be fixed.
Sorry...
I don't understand. I didnt ask anything.
No more. I don't want to nag you until this goes fixed.
If you don't want/cannot fix the bug, it is perfect for me.
Anyway, some attachements:
1 - screenshot of the model itself (some layers)
2 - screenshot of the print preview for the same
3 - screenshot of the png parameters used
4 - the png image as I get it...
Just is case of...
Best regards
Jean-Luc
I just found that there was a bad signal connection.
Now when you set the resolution it will automatically change the width / height.
Try lower values first... such as 1,2 ,3...
https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/commit/baad64709a5f5bf603ddd43817ae7cc6cc9c2dff
I tried "auto" or low values.
Sometimes it works, but sometimes some lines are missing.
See screenshots in a previous answer:
https://sourceforge.net/p/librecad/bugs/588/#a1d4/bc50/e3b2/a906
In fact, the missing lines are black.
(the "black" ones on the png are in fact dark grey on the model).
If I use "Black / White" in "Colouring" I can see the lines.
But then the colours are lost.
I appreciate your dedication to reporting bugs.
And thanks for the screenshots; I like seeing how people use the new custom toolbars.
Has the original 0 length file issue been solved?
Would you be willing to make a GitHub account?
It is where the code is, and if you post an issue, I can link the patch that solves the issue.

Hi,
If 0 length problem is solved:
No, it is not.
Depending on the contents of the drawing, I can use "up to some" resolution.
Sometimes it is 50 (I never managed to go further even with few lines), but
it can be as low as 5.
Only the "auto" resolution works all the time. But sometimes I need files
with a better resolution.
I'm always very happy to help.
If you remember, I've done several bissect in the past to help you to solve
some issues.
But I will not work - for the moment - on librecad. I would prefer to use
it.

Jean-Luc
