#506 Edit window does not expand above a certain size on Windows 7

Edit window does not expand to fill all available space within window. If I close some toolbars the edit window does not expand to fill the space. I also can't reduce the size of the toolbars below a certain size unless I make the whole application window smaller. If I make the application window then the edit window behaves as expected. It is as if the edit window has a maximum size, which is incorrectly calculated.

I first noticed this in version 2.0.7 so I tried 2.0.7.1 (same issue) but when I tried 2.0.6 all was fine. My screen size is 1280 x 1024 running Windows 7 Prof with SP1 and all updates. Application downloaded from source forge as installer executables.

This should have been fixed after 2.0.7 by commit:

Hello Dongxu Li,

the decribed behavior is also, when you unlock the command-line window and move it away. The resulting gap can't be filled with edit-window...
