#421 saving LFF by default

Arman Haghi

Loving LibreCad - thank you everyone for the hard work.

I'd like to reopen ticket 375 as it just happened to me.

In fact, I lost my first 4 hours of work ... I went to open the files but instead of my drawing, I had some near empty 'LFF' file.

Not sure why it's saving LFF by default or how to change it, but this seem like a pretty major bug.

Please advise if there's anything I can do to help.

Also, my OS is Kubuntu 12.10 (AMD64)

My LibreCAD version is:

Version: 1.0.2
SCM Revision: 1.0.2
Compiled on: May 17 2012

could there be a reliable way to detect incorrect usage of saving to lff?

If there's no good way to handle that, can we save a copy of dxf when saving to lff by default?

We can disable default saving to lff or any other format may cause data loss?

I disabled default to lff filter for the time being.

looks like this bug only exists in 1.0 series.

    branch 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT, commit: ee5b3ed..963a937

That's terrific - thank you for your comments and actions.

Is there anything I can do to make this update for Ubuntu repositories?

Sorry, not sure how this normally works.

      Thank you!

I strongly suggest you use 2.0 series instead. You can either find installer/packages or build from source.
