#313 Circle with center/radius never asks for radius

master branch

When I select the function "circle with center and radius", LibreCAD lets me define the center - and immediately draws a tiny circle. It never asks for the radius, and after clicking it immediately starts asking for the next center. I doubt this is as intended.

    I forgot to mention the version I tested: It was 81d4eb50d8f8191a99d7977e73080343dbdd329d.

    You can use "circle with center and point" that works as you expect
    If you use "circle with center and radius" first define the desired radius on the command
    options toolbar, then draw the circle clicking the center

    the radius for (circle and radius) should be set in an input box within the top toolbar area.

    You need to double check your "tool options" are enabled in main menu:

    View -> Toolbars -> Tool Options

    It may take a while to locate it. To locate the input box, I usually repeat several times of the following,

    1, click on "circle and radius" to show the input box for radius;
    2, click on "circle and point" to hide the input box shown in step 1;
    3, repeat from step 1.

    Thanks a lot for the explanation!

    I would NEVER have looked at or even noticed that little "radius" number-entry field without your comments, even though I looked around in the GUI. But it was just too unobtrusive to be easily noticed because there are so many other widgets on the screen.

    Your comments also helped me to understand the difference between this function and the "center - endpoint" function which I actually wondered about what could be the difference.

    All in all, it was a clear case of "RTFM", only that there is no M to F R... :-)

    Thanks anyway, LibreCAD is a phantastic application!

    Closing bug.
