Hi,

maybe I use the opportunity of a slightly increased noise-level for a
general status update:

I personally stopped using libquicktime several years ago and my motivation
for active development is near zero. On the other hand, I know that
libquicktime is too precious to abandon (it made me learn a LOT of things in
many areas). So I will try to fix bugs and apply patches depending on your input.

This means you should not expect an official realease anytime soon as long
as noone else is ready and able to jump in. But the current CVS can be considered
stable enough to be packaged. An official tarball wouldn't be better.
