PGF version 6.11.24 is multi-core ready, is even faster on single-cores, and the encoder is deterministic.

Hi,
Version 6.11.42 is available now as replacement of 6.11.24.
There is difference between sonames in SVN and in released 6.11.42 sources.
Is there any ABI changes since 6.11.24 version?
If there are ABI changes between 6.11.24 and 6.11.42 why soname not changed in released 6.11.42 sources?
If no ABI changes then why was soname bump in SVN?

Now updated *.zip are available which contain the same as latest SVN rev. 50, so you are free to use either the releases or SVN.
Generally we push our internal repository into sourceforge SVN when significant changes or fixes were made and the code is stable enough.

The zipped sources were released too early, the SVN is correct (e.g. the background related methods are gone from PGFImage).
So you recommend to use SVN sources?
