Wow, having just stumbled over this project
I must say this looks promising...
Over the years I've grown very fond of compiling
mud source code and always wanted to use libnix
but because of the missing network stuff it
just wasn't to be...
I can't program in C yet but I have an uncanny
ability to modify source and headers through
logic... ;)
I'm off now to have a play... haven't compiled
for quite sometime...
I use gcc 2.95.3 to 3.4 for AmigaOS on one
of my A4000/060 running 3.9 etc... if ya wanted
to know...
I guess this project is final then?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
after adding -noixemul to the cflags and
in the linking with the appropriate -lsocket
etc -lm the binary compiles fine on all the
mud codebases I tried it on...
but they all suffer the same fate... during
execution when it goes to load in some of
the data files it can't find a file...
there is something missing or twisted somewhere
download circlemud 3.1 and compile it then
run it and you'll see what I mean
anyway, I don't expect anyone to see this ;)
:)
