Several dependencies listed for 3.0 build are not available. Ex. available.h, _types.h, appleapiopts.h etc, etc. For those with 32 bit machines trying to build, this is a real headache.

Could you send more information :

where do you took the source code ? (it has moved to http://code.google.com/p/libmusicxml/)

can you also point the files that pose problem ?
