Giant Core Update

Added tons of new features internally to help push development. We created a state-based parser to help strengthen this client against potential MITM attacks, a very clean design internally for ns command-processing, and a new "attached vs detached" mode for connecting, which will eventually allow a client implementing this library to respond-only to events (as in the case with a bot), or to create new events unprovoked. Much code has been introduced to help this multi-threaded design.

Libmsnp Messenger Sign On success!

Great News! We've successfully made it through the Windows Live Singled Sign On Process!

We would also like to announce at this time that this successful sign-on was also accomplished in MSNPv21, which is the new MSN Protocol that will be featured in the upcoming Windows Live Messenger version 15.

We're anxious to see what else will be accomplished with this challenging part over.

Hello World

Welcome to the LibMSNP project. This project is currently in inception and pre-alpha.

Currently our objective is to get basic chat working with LibMSNP. Most of the login process has been completed, which uses libcurl and libxml2, and a hard-coded soap-like login process specific to msnp.

Anybody interested in testing should have libcurl and libxml2 installed, as well as the development headers installed for libcurl and libxml2.... read more
