Hi, I'm not very familiar with nonlinear solvers, but this should be a quite basic issue, sorry! I would like to increase the loading parameter in my elasticity problem, setting each time the initial guess of the solver as the solution of the problem at the previous loading. My problem is defined as // Creates a system named "StVen" NonlinearImplicitSystem& system = equation_systems.add_system<NonlinearImplicitSystem> ("StVen"); with residual and jacobian // Give the system a pointer to the functions that update // the residual and Jacobian. system.nonlinear_solver>residual = compute_residual; system.nonlinear_solver>jacobian = compute_jacobian; So I would like to solve this way: load =1; equation_systems.get_system("StVen").solve(); load =2; equation_systems.get_system("StVen").solve(); load =3; equation_systems.get_system("StVen").solve(); But I think here the initial guess is always the 0 function!
