I am working on a better web page for the library.
One thing which I am adding is a page with short
biographical sketches for each of the developers,
with possibly a link to your own homepage. I can
also include a small picture of you if you want to
put one. Therefore I need from you the biographical
sketch and a picture if possible.
On the subject of research, I am including links to
publications/presentations done using libmesh. If your presentations
are currently web-accessible, the easiest thing would be to link to
them from the new libmesh site with possibly a short abstract
on the libmesh home page. I don't think checking everyone's
individual presentations into the repository is a good idea :)
Finally, there is a section for applications, but I am not
exactly sure how it will be structured yet. Some categories
*) Acoustic Problem for Automobile Tires
*) Surface-Tension-Driven Flows
*) Supersonic Nozzles
*) Other specific applications
Then we could have a short description of the problem with relevant
results, and possibly a link to more information. The new web page
will utilize CSS stylesheets and PHP scripting commands, and should
be fairly easy to understand once I've checked in the basic stuff.
From there, anyone should feel free to modify it. Otherwise I will
come looking for your contribution... ;)
