However, Windows doesn't provide direct userspace USB access out-of-the-box; you have to install a kernel driver (like WinUSB or libusbK) to pass USB packets back and forth between kernel-space and userspace. Luckily, Vernier provides &lt;a class="" href="https://www.vernier.com/products/software/logger-lite/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Logger Lite&lt;/a&gt; for free, and Logger Lite (and presumably Logger &lt;em&gt;Pro&lt;/em&gt;) ship with a WinUSB driver already set-up for LabPro. So, as long as you have Logger Lite or Logger Pro installed, you can use liblabpro on Windows effortlessly.
