No bugs discovered since february 2005: project has been moved to "Beta" status.

Libjf has been compiled and tested on AMD64 architecture.

Version 0.1.8-0.0.0 has been compiled and tested in Microsoft Windows 2000 + Cygwin environment

Since release 0.1.7-0.0.0 recovery utility "jf_recover" is available to check and perform recovery using a command line UNIX style interface.

JF_JOURNAL_SYNC_TYPE environment var has been added.
Severe bug (random segmentation fault) in jf_journal_rotate function has been fixed.

some bugs related to open modes "a" and "a+" has been fixed: now libjf acts like standard C stream when "append mode" and "append mode + read" are used; case test jf_test112 has been added to test "a" and "a+" open modes

First alpha-test ready release is available.
Only GNU/Linux is supported at this time.
