The libieee1284 project is now hosted at GitHub:

Okay, I finally made a release. Basically what's implemented is enough to make it usable with ppdev, and enough for pin-level access (but nothing beyond that) without ppdev, using iopl() or /dev/port.

This should be considered alpha quality at the moment. 0.1.0 is the first release of the development branch.
