#8 delete/purge/empty trashbin

What i'm missing in the "API" is a delete function for
the mails - i can "trash" them but they remain in the
trash directory.
An "empty Trash" or just a simple delete function would
be really very nice to have

I completely agree. Maybe you could provide some direction
and we can look over the code and possibly submit a patch?
