They're very nice header files.  I'm sure I'll get along with them
just fine.  ;-)

Hmm.  I'm looking at the 0.5.12 release.  test/ includes test-tree.c,
which only uses the JPEG code, and test-mem.c, which is fairly small
and doesn't use a lot of the library (or doesn't appear to).  Have the
tests been extended in CVS?

I've picked up gexif, but haven't had time to dig into the sources.

Complete and well-written, of course!  ;-)  How to get there from
what's in 0.5.12, I don't know yet.
