The sentence "If that amount of time is exceeded while
reading in() or writing to out() and err(), exception
is thrown.", found in documentation [reference.html,
also
http://libexecstream.sourceforge.net/reference.html#set_wait_timeout\]
for function set_wait_timeout seems to have read/write
direction swapped.

The text a few lines before the sentence suggest a
different formulation: "If that amount of time is
exceeded while WRITING in() or READING FROM out() and
err(), exception is thrown." Changes marked with UPPER
CASE.
