Hi! I just uploaded a little patch to the patch manager that does two things: 1. It builds a static libdv and exports simple API for decoding-frame-by-frame purposes. 2. Includes stream.c, a little gtk app that demonstrates how to make use of the API functions. It captures DV data via IEEE1394 and displays it in a window on-screen. As it obviously requires libraw1394 to be installed, it isn't build by default, use 'make stream' instead. So far it works quite well for me. I'm getting ~6 frames per second on a PIII/450. Quality seems to be okay. Have fun! Daniel. -- GNU/Linux Audio Mechanics - http://www.glame.de GPG Key ID 89BF7E2B - http://www.keyserver.net |
