[libdv-dev] Fedora libdv issues

Hi,

I am the libdv package maintainer from the Fedora Project.  I am hoping 
to get upstream's assistance on these two issues.

libdv uses text relocations in DSO
Soon text relocations in DSO's will be forbidden by SELINUX, so this 
needs to be fixed.  This apparently is not trivial to fix and verify.

(libdv x86_64) build failure
The x86-64 specific additions between 0.103 -> 0.104 broke our x86-64 
build.  This may be an upstream problem.  In any case this is blocking 
upgrading Fedora to 0.104 so I hope for upstream's assistance.

The patch in the last message of the thread is in libdv CVS. Would you
please either try the patch alone or our CVS?

v0.103 built fine on x86-64 because it did not even build with asm/mmx
support--it was just compiling C! The change with 0.104 is very
important because it adds accellerated support for x86-64.
