Hi Jan,

Great that you are working on this.
I get the following error:
Linking CXX shared module _common_decl.pyd

make[2]: *** [src/2geom/cython-bindings/cy2geom.pyd] Error 1

The README.win32 text says to download the latest mingw and provides an 
outdated (and broken) link. For Inkscape we use TDM-GCC, 
http://tdm-gcc.tdragon.net/ , did you try to build with that one?
