I am a MacPorts developer trying to update our lgeneral package to the latest version. I've compiled and installed lgeneral 1.3.1, converted the contents of pg-data.tar.gz (2005-09-17) to lgeneral format using lgc-pg -s /path/to/pg-data -d /path/to/share/lgeneral. I start the game, click to continue, click Load Campaign, click PG, click OK, click to continue, and the game exits with the error terrain/pg/bridge.bmp: Couldn't open /path/to/share/lgeneral/gfx/terrain/pg/bridge.bmp. I don't know how to obtain this file. The lgc-pg conversion process did not create it.

Since that version extra bridge file is optional and no longer generated by default. However, it should not try to load it. If you are absolutely sure you generated data with new lgc-pg version (and no old files were in share directory) this is clearly a bug. Nontheless I would recommend to delete all files from share/lgeneral and convert again. If this does not work: use option --separate-bridges with lgc-pg then you get an extra file.
Unfortunately I don't have much time anymore to work on these games but any patches are most welcome.
    Regards,
    Michael

    Thanks, --separate-bridges worked.
