I'm using WebKit-602.2.3-Leopard-PowerPC. If you close a tab while a video is playing it keeps playing in other tabs. Test it here --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf4sa0BVJVw
Play the video, Open new tab, Then close tab playing video. Thanks for your work... :)
I haven't been able to reproduce this issue.
Hosestly, I've noticed this behavion since the 507 series. I always thought it was normal, kind of like how you can close the iTunes window and the music will continue playing.
I disabled Safari's plugins, Just to make sure it wasn't a plugin and it sill does it. But, not every time.
I've just noticed that the dictionary context menu option nolonger works in this release. Also I've noticed minor changes in the way the browser generates the pages' UI. They nolonger have their smooth aqua gummy apearence, instead they're just highlighted text that you click on. Besides being a bit repulsive in appearence (I'm not a big fan of Apple's new 2D "simplistic" look) it's also a bit confusing as the buttons aren't as noticable anymore. How difficult do you think it would be to "forward port" the old UI element to new WebKit releases?
The issue with the UI elements is already fixed in the next release, which I'll upload soon - maybe after I fixed the dictionary context menu option (which I hadn't noticed yet).
602.2.5 is ready for download and has dictionary lookup, UI elements, font lookup and maybe some more things fixed.
Thanks for reporting!
I've already seen this issue myself quite a long time ago - but in comparison with other issues this has been quite low priority for me. I'll not try to fix it for the next release.
Great! Thanks for your work... :)
This issue should be fixed in release 602.3.2 .
Please verify it is fixed indeed and report your results!
Nice Work. Thank you... ;)
